Call out plugin final cut pro x11/16/2023 ![]() ![]() In there I see a folder called ´original media´ in there I can see the so called missing files:Ĭontent of ORIGINAL MEDIA folder located in library:Īs you can see, the files are present in the library but FCP browser cannot locate them. When I go to the library and right click and select ´show package contents´ I can navigate to the event folder with the exclamation mark. When done, the yellow exclamation marks are still present. It gives a window that shows fcp is verifying. I then have to click ´locate´ I then navigate to the library (I imported the original media into the library during import process). ![]() When I try to ´relink files - original media - all´ the window is populated with all file names. When I try to ´relink files - original media - missing´ the window stays empty. When I made the 4th project I noticed that the first 3 now have the yellow exclamation mark. I managed to edit 3 of them so far, worked fine. I understand that fcp works with external media (media files in an external folder and not in the library) and managed media (media files that were imported into the library). Maybe it’s a read/right-problem so FCP can’t read the files? I’ve checked the privacy settings and FCP has full folder access though. ![]() What i do have found as a temporary solution is if I drag in the exact same media file again into the same project, anywhere in the timeline, FCP seems to ”refresh” the file and it starts to work everywhere that particular file is used. I can’t really find a pattern in which files are working and which files doesn’t work, it seems to affect all file types and it doesn’t matter where the file is located. Also, I’ve turned off the option that copies media files to the library so the media files are widely spread in many different folders and locations, both external drives and internal drives. I am running FCP totally ”vanilla” without any plugins, just using the built-in transitions, effects, titles etc. Most of my media files (mp4, png, mp3, wav, mov, doesn’t matter) gets a red ”missing plugin” error with a puzzle piece. I’ve got a odd problem with Final Cut Pro 10.5 after the Big Sur-update. ![]()
